As I posted before, I made a Greek themed dinner. I know limoncello is Italian, but the flavor seemed like the perfect ending to a flavorful dinner.
I still have about a week and a half to go on the second part of the recipe, but we couldn't resist a taste. The flavor is amazing..sweet, thick, easy to drink, and very lemony, but I see some room for improvement over the next week or so. Mostly, the sweet is separated from the lemon vodka flavor - the first taste is spot on, but the swallow and the aftertaste is distinctly lemon vodka. Hopefully this will mellow over time.
This does warrant more samples over the next 12 days of course ;)
